U.S. U-20 roster announced for France training session

As the U.S. U-20 roster comes together this summer for a training session in Vichy, France, it will also serve as a cruel reminder for the team’s failed quest to make the trip to Colombia for this summer’s Under 20 World Cup.
That point has already been digested, however, and with Tab Ramos in charge of the U-20s this time around, it’s a group that has one eye on the next cycle with six players included in the group who will still be eligible for the next cycle. Rongen is likely to be involved in some capacity, although it’s no longer as coach.
Just two college players remain in this group, and that number could soon become one depending on what happens with Kelyn Rowe. He’s certainly a player who would benefit from moving to a league abroad, assuming he settles in and fits the right club. A return to UCLA wouldn’t be a bad thing too, of course.
Here’s a look at the roster: Continue reading ‘U.S. U-20 roster announced for France training session’
